Morning,
I'm stepping in to Lynda's spot today as she is out and about today and has been a very busy lady of late.
I thought I'd talk a bit more about my craft journey.
As a child I loved nothing more than to make keepsake cards and gifts for family and friends.
Interestingly we have recently been clearing out at my late mum and dad's property and I have come across many of the cards I made for them which they kept.
I'll have to upload some pictures in my next post.
I still do make special gifts and cards for family and friends, like many of us crafters do.
About 6 years ago I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work on various design teams.
I couldn't believe that I'd progressed from a casual crafter to one who had the privilege of being on craft companies DT;s!
I was an awesome experience and still is!
Seeing my work on TV gave me a huge buzz and still does with the teams I'm currently on.
It's interesting to see how our work develops over the years as we learn different techniques and are inspired by changing trends and styles.
About 6 years ago I started decorating CD's and turning them into clocks, I rapidly got know as "The Clock Lady" and wherever I went people would say "Oh I know you, you're the Clock Lady."
They didn't know me by name just "The Clock Lady" Lol!
Hence the name of my original blog which I called Craft Time.
The CD clocks are something I know many, many followers have enjoyed doing too and I do still make these clocks from time to time.
In fact I made one recently for my daughter's birthday which I will have to share, I haven't had chance to photograph it yet.
I have made so many different clocks for all sorts of occasions using varying themes for craft projects, DT and personal as well as for gifts.
Today I thought I'd share a very few going back to 2012 where it all started, hope you enjoy...
Have a great day...Karen x

Catching up after Create It Kent
Catch up time again,
As Lynda updated in her last post it was the Create It show last weekend and so lovely to catch up with everyone exhibiting and visiting over the weekend.
Friday was set up day so I was there to help Angela, Polly Allsorts.
What gorgeous weather we had for the weekend too and a Royal Wedding thrown in for good measure!
It was very busy with the Make and Takes on Saturday and again Sunday and so many lovely crafter's stopped by to join in and also pop along to say "Hi."
I know there was no real time to chat as it was so busy but lovely to see you all and thank you so much for visiting.
On Sunday Angela's Son and his friend arrived to help so I had a bit of a chance to look around the show.
It was great to see Lynda and meet Erika and catch up with Sam and Denyse over on Samantha K.
I thought I'd share what we did for the M&T's and some gorgeous Story Books created in the workshop.
We made tags on Saturday and decorated the wooden doors on Sunday and everyone was very happy with the results, we thought they were all stunning!
Angela is away having a well earned break at the moment but I'm sure she will be sharing lots of photo's when she returns.
Before we knew it the show was over and it was time to pack up.
Here's some of the samples created for the day...
Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend whatever you are doing...x

Do you run a craft group or workshop that you would like mentioned on our show?...
It can be a group of absolutely any size featuring any craft, a regular craft meet amongst friends, crafting with cake, coffee and chat or a larger group that you run, we want to hear from you!
Pop over to our Facebook page leave a photo of your happy, smiley group telling us where it is held and how often you meet, it doesn't have to be a that frequent, even every few months is fine.
That's it, that's all we need.
I am owner of Minnie Muse and we run all sorts of classes and craft sessions, including one to one's, and demo's for social groups and events...
These sessions are mainly run in Kent, where we are based and in Surrey where our crafting started originally.
Community crafting, crafting for therapy, team building sessions or individuals wanting to learn a specific techniques or enjoy dedicated craft time.
Tailored to suit requirements and budgets at designated venues or those arranged by us.
A recent Minnie Muse class at a local community meeting place in Kent with a few regular ladies who are also now good friends.
Now The Craft Show look forward to hearing from you and your group and hearing about what crafts you do...
All ready to go...
